It is highly recommended that our certified SKY Pacific technicians install your SKY Pacific satellite equipment. The instructions below are for the set-up of your set top box only

Step 1: First check that you have the following items in your SKY Pacific Set Top Box (STB) Package and arrange them carefully on a flat surface. If any item is missing, contact us immediately:

1. 1 x Coship MPEG-4 Set Top Box (STB)
2. 1 x Audio Video Cable
3. 1 x Coship Remote
4. 2 x AA batteries
5. 1 x Coship User Manual

Step 2: Remove all items from their packaging, insert the 2 batteries into the Remote Control then take the STB out of its package and connect the Audio Video cable to it, carefully inserting the yellow, red and white coloured cables into their corresponding coloured slots on the back of the STB.

Step 3: Place the STB on a flat surface that is well ventilated and near to your TV screen, but also within reach of the coaxial cable that our SKY technicians would have installed already on your selected location. Please note that this cable should be running from the satellite dish outside your premises into the location of your TV screen. 

Step 4: Connect the coaxial cable (with attached F-connector) to the "LNB In" slot at the back of the STB and tighten the screws.

Step 5: If the Smart Card has yet to be inserted in its slot on the front panel of the STB, do this now. 

Step 6: Connect the power cable of the STB to a powerpoint and switch this on.

Step 7: Using the SKY Pacific remote, turn on the STB.

Step 8: Switch on your TV screen then check, using your TV remote, that its setting is either on Video 1, Video 2, AV 1 or AV2 and select one of these.

Step 9: Wait for the message "Loading" to appear on your TV screen, followed by the SKY Pacific logo. If your satellite dish has been aligned correctly, the SKY Pacific signal will be detected automatically and you should see a clear image of one of the channels on your TV screen.
