A sun outage, sun transit or sun fade is an interruption or distortion of geostationary satellite signals caused by interference from solar radiation. The effect is due to the sun's radiation overwhelming the satellite signal.

There are 2 major cost components for SKY Pacific:

1.    Certified copy of a valid ID - please note that we only accept your current driver's license, passport or FNPF membership card. We do not accept employment ID cards or any other form of ID.

SKY Pacific has 2 types of set-top boxes available to subscribers. The older model, normally referred to as DMT, is capable of operating on an MPEG-2 platform.
